Shepherds Hut

If you are looking for a real 'on farm' experience, we are very excited to offer our guests the ultimate in rural accommodation with our 2 shepherds huts 'Shepherds Rest' and 'Lamb's Tails' which are both set in their own grounds with just the cattle, sheep and wildlife for neighbours!.  If you visit during the months of Feb-April you will see all the lambing action with lots of newly born lambs skipping about just outside the huts!

‘Shepherds Rest’ & 'Lamb's Tails' are bespoke handmade shepherds huts with a stunning fully fitted oak kitchen, separate bathroom and double bedroom, all finished to the highest standard.  Lamb's Tails offers a large seating/eating area which is a great working space too.  When it's time for bed, just fold the table up and then pull the ready made bed down from the wall and there you have it ...  a double bed with amazing views of the cows and calves and the sheep and horses happily grazing through the bedroom window. The bed in Shepherds Rest is fixed with an oak table eating and working space.  We have taken a lot of thought into the design to ensure that it offers everything you would expect when staying in self catering accommodation. With decking as you approach either hut , you can even sit outside and enjoy that glass of wine on its private patio overlooking the cattle sheep grazing nearby.  With the latest addition of a fire pits you can sit into the night and really cherish the peace and tranquility with only the birds to listen to!  On a clear night the stars are quite amazing.

The only difference is that you are staying in a beautiful shepherds hut surrounded by rolling countryside (……… and sheep!).  It is such a peaceful location with so much wildlife to hear, see and enjoy.  We always encourage our guests to enjoy the farm and to enjoy the walks along the brook and around the fields.
