Beautiful stay in Lambing Season - Rating 5/5

Weatherhead farm was a small little cute accommodation situated in a lovely little farm overlooking Buckinghamshire hills and the children hills. It had lots of sheep and lambs at this time of year and the scenery and animals were beautiful and really friendly. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Quiet Farm Getaway - Rating 5/5

As always we had amazing communication from before our stay. Every room/accommodation was clean & ready for us to dump our bags down and relax. We've been staying here for approximately the last 5 years and will continue to do so. It was lambing season, so we got to see the little lambs ❤️

Perfect- Rating 5/5

Return visit at lambing time was definitely worth it. Well appointed apartment with views over the lambing field ticked all the boxes for us. Great walks from the door . Quiet and tranquil, delicious breakfast basket. Friendly hosts made us welcome. Stowe Landscape Gardens are a short drive away . Thankyou

All the superlatives! - Rating 5/5

We stayed in one of the little Shepherds Huts which are just great fun, we wanted a little getaway to recharge, however, I made a mistake by only booking one night! We could have easily to stayed longer as the accommodation and surroundings are tranquil, clean, well-equipped and the farm's huge collection of sheep right on the doorstep provide constant entertainment. In terms of the accommodation, it is really well-equipped with everything you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. The living/sleeping area is super comfortable and airy, with a modern yet cottage feel. Despite the hut being in amongst a working farm, you aren't disturbed by machinery, just the noise of the occasional MOO and little tractor every now and again feeding the sheep which is worth being around for. The shower is hot and clean and the toilets are fully operational just like you have at home.We were fortunate enough to go during lambing season on a lovely sunny day, so there were loads of very cute lambs roaming in acres of sprawling fields. Don't be put off by the lambs and cattle on your doorstep, the huts are situated behind a fence so they dont come and bother you while you sit outside and once the sun goes down it gets nice and quiet in the peaceful surroundings; its fantastic being woken to the calls of pheasants in the morning followed by lambs calling back.We will definitely be going back, but next time for 2 or 3 nights as on the full days we plan on going for a long walk in the surrounding countryside to take in the views and experience more of what's nearby. There are pubs and restaurants nearby along with a farm shop on a neighbouring farm with only a short drive away the bustling picturesque town of Buckingham only takes 10 minutes and offers everything that you will need. The owner - Caroline, is attentive and clearly cares about the B&B side of the farm, don't be put off by any thoughts that farmers have turned to a half attempt at opening up their place to stay afloat, the accommodation feels that it has been set up properly and run professionally.Thank you for a lovely stay, see you again.

Wonderful - Rating 5/5

Stayed in Shepherds Rest Hut and it was perfect. Despite being February, I was lovely, warm and cosy during my two night stay.Watching the new lambs in the surrounding fields was magical.Only wish I could have stayed longer. Will most definitely be back when I visit family in the area!

Perfect stay - Rating 5/5

We stayed in one of the apartments. Excellent, equipped with everything we needed, tastefully decorated and furnished, spacious bedroom and plentyof living space to relax and look at the picturesque view.Breakfast basket was exceptional value.Definitely looking forward to returning for a longer stay. Would thoroughly recommend this 5* accommodation and location.I’m visually impaired and there is soft wall, lighting and plenty of additional ceiling lighting, I’ll be recommending g it to other VI friends, level and no trip hazards.
