We had a great stay. The accommodation was just what we needed for our stay whilst we visited our grandma nearby. Everything was spotlessly clean, well equipped with plenty of parking. We watched the sunset from our patio. We will definitely stay again.

I booked the Shepherds hut for 1 night, as we wanted somewhere quiet and remote, but not too far from Stowe gardens to visit the D day memorial. Our stay was perfect in every way. From arrival and parking in our own little parking space, right in front of the hut, and finding everything that we needed, including a little bottle of milk for our cuppa. The hut is designed for comfort, and every little detail taken into account. There was plenty of pots, pans, untensils etc, a 2 ring hob, toaster and microwave etc.The bed was comfortable & the shower lovely and big.We heard the faint sound of cows a couple of time…but that was the only sound all night, and was quite relaxing! We’d definitely recommend and visit again.

We stayed in Clydesdale house for the weekend, a very cosy and comfortable farmhouse style cottage that was clean and elegant. There were plenty of farm animals, with sheep in the field outside, cows just across the farm and a couple friendly horses too. Owners were also very friendly and did a great good communicating with us whenever we needed something!

I couldn’t have ask for a more smooth and easy stay at the farm! Gorgeous views, clean facilities, friendly residents/ staff and easy instructions to follow for check in and checkout. Great communication from the host and I wished I stayed longer! Would 100% recommend for any type of stay, whether it’s a full 1-2 week holiday or just an overnight stay like I did. Will be returning back very soon.

We stayed with Caroline last year for the Silverstone Classic & immediately rebooked this year for the MotoGP & this year's Classic, (going back next week; can't wait!). The latest stay was even better than the first; Caroline is a delight to deal with was very flexible with timings & the accommodation very comfortable indeed. Breakfast on the first day was a continental, as requested, made available in the room because we wanted to get to the circuit early; the cooked breakfast on the second day was superb, with plenty of pastries, tea, coffee, you-name-it to get through! The room was one of the self-contained Self-Catering apartments & suited our purposes perfectly, with a very large bed, adjoining shower room & a lovely front room & kitchen looking out over the countryside via large patio doors; we sat outside for a few hours & took in the scenery & at night did some star spotting, (no light pollution!). Of note is that disabled facilities are very good; my partner uses crutches to get around. I do not hesitate in giving Weatherhead Farm an Excellent rating & look forward to many more stays there.

We recently stayed while attending an event at Porsche, Silverstone & we throughly enjoyed it! The ‘lambs tail’ was cosy and we had everything we needed, and was really warm too! The view out of the barn style door every morning was the best bit, all the animals running around was great! There’s also a concrete hard standing driveway where you are able to leave you car if you decide to bring your ‘fun’ one!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay for my partner’s birthday, we spent the weekend at Silverstone and stayed at the Shepherds hut which was a lovely and cosy accommodation surrounded with stunning nature. Very clean, comfortable bed, warm in the cold weather. The only downfall I would say is that the little window on the door is plain glass/has no blind so just a piece of frosted film on the glass would make it a little more private. It can’t be faulted other than that minor.Thank you for a lovely stay

We stayed for a birthday weekend at the farm, 16 adults and we also hired the kitchen and dining room. We had a wonderful time, everyone commented on the beautiful setting, the ease of travelling in from London and the comfortable beds. The kitchen was also well stocked, making it easy to cook for all of us as we had dinner there. Caroline was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Lambs Tails for 1 night before we attended a car show at Silverstone. Everything was perfect, Caroline was so informative with everything and even pointed us in the right direction for the best Chinese takeaway which was delicious. The shepherd's hut is beautiful, the location and surroundings are stunning and tranquil. Perfect location for Silverstone too. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return one day. We stayed overnight in a clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed twin bedded unit. All the fixtures and fittings were so well thought out and modern, while still retaining the comfort and warmth of the working farm setting. The kitchen had everything we needed and Caroline, our host, could not have been more helpful - the breakfast basket was a wonder! It was super to have such a stylish and relaxing place to stay - the views from the patio alone were worth a visit.

Choose to stay at Weatherhead Farm as we were visiting Silverstone and its only 10 miles from circuit. So happy we made this choice as it is set in beautiful countryside and is a working farm. The studio was well equipped, very clean and cosy. Had a lovely meal at the local pub and a very comfy night's sleep before leaving for Silverstone the next day. Wished we had booked more nights as it is central to s lot of places to visit in that area. We will definately return.

We stayed in the Annex with two rooms. The location is incredible! Considering this is located on a farm, we didn't hear anything from outside. Currently 36 weeks pregnant and I am uncomfortable sleeping anyway so I didnt personally sleep well but this was to do with pregnancy not the room.I had a lovely hot bath & over all the fresh breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast we had all eaten whilst staying out along with friendly service throughout our stay - we would definitely recommend this & we will be returning again!!

Reviewer: Cathy D | Mon 27th Sep 2021 | 3 years ago
We were pleasantly surprised with out accommodation, it was larger than I expected and with the added kitchen and living area it was lovely. The place was spotlessly clean and smelt nice. There was a beautiful view from the living area across the hills, the living room doors opened onto a shared courtyard, we couldn’t get our doors to open as the key had broken, but we didn’t mind as others had their doors open and I’m more of a private person, And the next room could already see into our room. We had been left a gorgeous breakfast basket and couldn’t wait to eat it. We had a cup of tea when we arrived but this then left us without tea bags for the morning as there was only 2. If I stay again I’d definitely take my own. This property was beautiful and I really wanted to give it a 5 star review but unfortunately there were a few downsides, the walls are paper thin and we heard everything that next door did and said, from talking, yawning, moving and snoring.. all night long! And the beds were so very hard, between the snoring and the beds we didn’t sleep a wink. We had a long day at Silverstone after our stay and we were so tired. It was a shame because the duvet and pillows were so soft and comfy.

We stayed for one night in “Red Poll” (one bed apartment)The idea was to escape the craziness of everyday life just to relax…. this was perfect!Check in - was nice and easy!Had paid the day before and was said to head straight to apartment when we arrived to settle in. We arrived early, I gave Caroline a call and she said it was fine to go on in.Red Poll - The apartment was lovely with everything to a high standard and clean. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. The bio folding doors looked out over the cow field, where you can sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. The bathroom was a decent size with an amazing walk-in shower.Location - found the property easily using Sat Nav. The farm is at the bottom of a narrow lane. Caroline also sent an email giving good directions. As the sun had come out we went for a walk around the farm and into the village. We came across a beautiful church and an old school that had been tuned into a house, we spoke to some locals who were all very friendly!Cons - not that there really is any it was such a lovely place, butwe did get lots of flies in the apartment. I’m guessing it’s what to expect when you are next to a cow field and it’s a warm day. Again it wasn’t an issue just something we noticed. All in all an amazing find and can’t wait to come back again!

The owners were very nice and the cooked breakfasts were great. Slept well both nights in the comfy bed & very quiet surroundings. The room was a good size and furnished well, there was the odd cobweb and the tv was a bit on the small side, putting in a bigger tv would make the room better. The bathroom was nice although the toilet seat was loose. The views were great and the animals were nice to see. We will be back sometime in the future.

I am a repeat customer, travelling for Business and Pleasure. This is the best accommodation in the area if you want first class facilities and value for money. A great location in the countryside, conveniently located for Silverstone, Milton Keynes, Bletchley Park, Stowe... even Bicester Village isnt far (30mins). Easy access to M1 and M40. A great central location to use as a base for accessing that part of the UK. This is self-catering and you will have to drive to get to the nearest supermarket approx 10 mins away, or great local pubs 5 mins. However, if you plan appropriately and take the provisions you need, then there's everything you need here.

No local amenities within close walking distance but there is a very nice local pub serving good food and selection of drinks only a few minutes drive away. The only negative was the mattress was a bit uncomfortable and gave my wife backache the next day.

A very peaceful place ,tucked away down by a stream. Our Host Caroline was very attentive & nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely pass on this location to our other friends.

We had an absolutely stunning stay at this gorgeous farm. The views and location was perfect, and the property itself had everything we needed and wanted. We loved having the option to make ourselves breakfast and eat it looking at the views outside in the morning. We went for dinner at a pub the wheatsheaf which we would recommend. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was our second stay at the farm but this time we stayed in the delightful shepherds hut. It was wonderful, well equipped clean and cosy with wonderful views.Caroline is such a lovely lady who is very personable and cooks a delicious breakfast. Only disappointment no lambs born during our stay !!!!Will certainly be returning often to stay here.

We stayed in the self catering studios and the Shepherds Hut, both where clean, comfortable and very roomy. The tiny baby lambs were delightful and a great added bonus, skipping and playing all around our accommodation. Caroline was a very welcoming & friendly host, we will definitely be coming back.
